Milestone 1 - Registration Form Submission Guidelines
Kindly complete the registration form and ensure that a signed copy is submitted along with the application fee. The form must bear the signature of
the highest-ranking HR official, confirming that all information provided is accurate. All associated costs will be borne by the organization.
Milestone 2 - Attending the Workshop
Applicant organizations to mandatorily attend a 3-day in-person workshop on the CII National HR Excellence Award Model, offering a
valuable opportunity to gain hands-on insights, sharpen practical skills, and build meaningful professional connections.
Attending this workshop will be beneficial for both applicants and individuals as :-
Applicants need to submit a 50-page detailed document demonstrating their understanding of
the Six Circle Model.
Individuals will receive a certificate after successfully completing the 3-day workshop.
They will also get an opportunity to be a part of our assessor pool for the CII National HR Excellence Award.
Milestone 3 - Application Submission and Review Process
Writing the application document (position report) involves systematically capturing the organization's HR practices, aligning
them with the CII National HR Excellence Award Model, and showcasing demonstration of impact and excellence. Once the document is written, applicants
are required to send it to CII for review. This review process allows us to provide feedback on the strengths and areas for improvement, suggest necessary
changes, and offer any additional input if needed. After the review, the hard copy of the Position Report (7 hard copies) is to be couriered to us.
Milestone 4 - Assessor Allocation
Assessors are allocated based on the size of the organization. For smaller organizations, a team of 2-3 assessors is typically assigned.
In contrast, for larger organizations, the number of assessors increases depending on the scale and complexity, either 4-5 assessors may be appointed to
ensure comprehensive evaluation and coverage of all key areas.
Milestone 5 - Physical Site Visit: Assessment Timeline and Coordination
The assessment timeline for the physical site visit is scheduled from September to December. During this period, the applicants are
required to discuss and agree upon suitable dates, and subsequently coordinate with the senior assessor to finalize the assessment schedule. Based on the
finalized date, necessary arrangements will be made. All travel, lodging, and other administrative/ logistical arrangements are to be organized and managed
directly by the applicant organization.
Milestone 6 - Finalization and Review of Assessment Feedback
Once the assessment is complete, the final feedback report is submitted by the assessors to CII. It is then reviewed by the internal
team of CII for verification of the reports and scores.
Milestone 7 – Final Report Sharing
All applicants who complete the HR Excellence Awards process will receive a detailed feedback report covering strengths, areas for
improvement, and score profile against each criterion after its completion.
Milestone 8 – Jury Meeting
Organizations that score 650 and above become eligible for the coveted Jury Round. This round is applicable to all three recognition
levels: Industry Leadership in HR Excellence, Benchmark Leadership in HR Excellence, and World-Class.
Milestone 9 - Award Ceremony
This ceremony is a celebration of the organizations that participated in that year's edition, who are recognized and honoured with
certificates and mementos as per the recognition received. It is a grand event that marks the culmination of a comprehensive assessment journey,
celebrating excellence, innovation, and best practices in the field of Human Resources.

1. The Application Fee is payable along with the Application Form.
2. Application Fee is charged to meet the expenses to conduct the assessment. Payment of
fees neither indicates nor implies any chance of winning a recognition.
3. Travel, Boarding and Lodging and other administrative arrangements to be organized and settled directly by the Applicant.
4. Accommodation to be made in a minimum 3 Star-rated Hotel or equivalent or in organization guest houses.
5. Travel to be Organized by Air wherever Air connectivity is available.
6. Other incidental expenses such as base location travel, incurred by the Assessors, in connection with the Onsite Assessment,
is also to be borne by the Applicant.
7. CII will provide detailed guidelines on hospitality, which needs to be adhered to by all applicant to ensure Safety
and Comfort of Assessment team.
8. Each application undergoes review by a Panel of Assessors, with all applicants subject to a site visit. Applicants agree
to share non-proprietary information, with the option to designate certain information as proprietary. The CII, Panel of Assessors, and Jury commit to
maintaining confidentiality, with members signing a Non-disclosure Agreement to uphold the integrity of the assessment process.
